The Mayor of Abyei and the Ngok Dinka Paramount Chief joined UNISFA personnel and local community during a massive clean-up of the Abyei market on 5 December. The event was organized by the UN Volunteers, UNPOL, military personnel, as well as the Community Protection Committee. The mayor promised to partner with UNISFA and other organizations to continue with the spirit of volunteerism in the New Year.
