The Abyei Community Protection Committee (CPC) team beat the UN POLICE and military, team during a football match to raise awareness about gender-based violence. The march was organized in Abyei town on 6 December 2021. UNISFA Police Commissioner, Violet Lusala, and the Ngok Dinka Paramount Chief, Bulabek Deng Kuol, were in attendance. The CPC team took the cup after scoring 1-0 against UNPOL.
