TRIPOLI- The United Nations Support Mission in Libya received yesterday evening an official memorandum from the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives Agila Saleh that included the approved electoral laws.
TRIPOLI – 3 October 2023 – In September, the UN launched a training programme for 30 young women from across Libya aimed at improving their communication, leadership and advocacy skills as well as increasing their knowledge of elections, women's right, human rights, and reconciliation.

DERNA, 16 September – Special Representative of the Secretary General, Abdoulaye Bathily, visited Derna today to see the devastated city firsthand.
The Secretary-General is profoundly saddened by the severe impact of Storm Daniel and subsequent flooding that hit the eastern parts of Libya.
