Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

Justice and Transition: 04 April 2017

The Tuesday , April 4 Edition of “Justice and Transition”, a program that looks at reform and capacity building efforts being instituted by government and partners , featured officials the Sexual and Gender Based Violence Crimes (SGBV) Unit.

Appearing on the show hosted by Romeo Togba were : Atty. Rosetta Neese-Baikpeh-Prosecutor, Pewee J. Laward- Case Liaison Officer , Tenneh Seah-Johnson- Victim Support Officer and Linda Barrolle-Saygbe- Training & Outreach Coordinator.

They spoke on, among others, steps being taken by the unit curb rape and other forms of gender based violence in the society
