TRIPOLI - 9 April - On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the Libyan people. I hope this occasion will reinforce the values of tolerance and peace.

As I observe the solidarity and unity demonstrated in Libya during the holy month of Ramadan, I pray that this year's Eid al-Fitr will serve as a starting point towards overcoming political divisions and economic hardship.

I also commend the resilience and determination of the people in their pursuit of peace, stability, and development in a unified and prosperous country.
