Youth Consultations – Political Process

In June 2025, the Mission launched a specific youth consultation track to support the UNSMIL-facilitated Libyan-led political process. Through this track and the public poll, the Mission is ensuring that the voices of young men and women from across Libya are included in, and advocated for, in the decision-making process developing the roadmap for the way forward.

The consultation period is over two months and launched in Nalut on 12 June 2025. Some sessions will be in person and others online in order to be as inclusive as possible.

We strongly encourage youth from cultural components and those with disabilities to engage and share their views on the proposals from the Advisory Committee.
