09 Jan 2016 - 08 January 2015 - The members of the Security Council strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a security training centre in Zliten, Libya on 7 January 2016, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
The members of the Security Council expressed their deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of this heinous act and wished a swift recovery to those injured.

This is indeed a day of hope, this is a day of hope for the people of Libya and I do congratulate the people of Libya for this achievement.
I am very grateful for the Kingdom of Morocco to have hosted the Skhirat process and also this event today.
This agreement was signed by many courageous men and women who risk a lot, I admire their dedication, I admire their courage.
17 Dec 2015 - 16 December 2015 – The signing of the Libyan Political Agreement is due to take place tomorrow, 17 December 2015 as agreed to by the Libyan political dialogue and as welcomed by the United Nations Security Council and by the ministerial meeting in Rome on 13 December. The signing ceremony has been scheduled for 17 December and a large number of Libyan participants and high-level international participants, including many foreign Ministers, have committed to attend.
