15 Feb 2021 - H.E Tunisian Foreign Minister, Othman al-Jerandi, received today the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Libya Ján Kubiš to discuss a wide range of issues related to the situation in Libya. Minister al-Jerandi reiterated Tunisia's commitment to the stability of Libya and expressed full support to UN efforts in this regard.

On 3 February 2021, the Council of Ministers promulgated a two-month interim budget for 2021. This is the first time since 2014, Libya has one unified national budget.
