  • 05 Mar 2018 - Libya, 4 March 2018 – The World Health Organization country office in Libya delivered a mobile clinic to the city of Sabha in order to respond to the health needs of thousands of people in urban and out of reach areas in the South with limited access to healthcare services in the South. 
  • 01 Mar 2018 - UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, distributed last week 8 water tanks to 7 different healthcare facilities located in the cities of Sabratha and Az-Zawiyah (60Km and 40 Km west of Tripoli respectively), in order to support medical facilities in providing their services to local communities and internally displaced persons approaching these centres. The 7 facilities included 2 main hospitals, 1 oncology hospital, 2 polyclinics and 2 clinics. 
  • 01 Mar 2018 - 26 February 2018, Libya – In light of the existing shortage of essential medical supplies in Beninah, the World Health Organization delivered one NCDC kit and five Interagency Emergency Health Kits (IEHK) to the Beninha Hospital, funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO).

  • 23 Feb 2018 - TUNIS, 21 February 2018 - Representatives from the Tebu and Zway tribes of Kufra District signed a Reconciliation Agreement after a two-day meeting in Tunis, organized by UNSMIL with the support of UNDP. The agreement sets out key principles for reconciliation that include freedom of movement, individual accountability for crimes, and equal access to services without discrimination.
