  • 30 Aug 2017 - Tunis , 23 August 2017 - Within the context of the Net-Med Project funded by the EU, UNFPA Libya CO jointly with UNESCO , organized a “training of trainers on Public policies “ from 23rd to 26th August 2017 in Tunis , Tunisia. The workshop involved the participation of 10 young man and woman who are active in their communities from different Libyan municipalities ( Tripoli , Misrata , Sirt , Benghazi , Sebha ).

  • 23 Aug 2017 - 21 August 2017 - Today, an intensive workshop was launched aiming to build capacity of analyzing disrupted health systems. The workshop is part of the EU funded SHAMS project workplan that is technically led by WHO Country Office in Libya. This capacity building activity will take place during the period of 21-25 August, and is held in Carthage Thalasso Hotel in Tunis.

    14 Aug 2017 - Tunis, 14 August 2017 - During the first quarter of 2017, UNCIEF in partnership with the National Centre for Disease Control and the Ministry of Education conducted an in-depth assessment of the quality of water and sanitation facilities in 140 schools in west, east and south of Libya.

Today’s generation of youth has come of age in an era of crisis, conflict and disaster. Yet, it has largely been excluded from national and global efforts to prevent and resolve conflicts.
  • UNICEF Regional Director's visit to a Child Friendly Space in the Municipality of Janzour in Tripoli, Libya. The CFS is implemented by Al Nahla Organization, a UNICEF national partner since 2015 who provide psychosocial support for vulnerable children displaced by the conflict to Janzour.
