As part of the Structured Dialogue and to encourage broad community participation, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya is gathering views from Libyans in the country and abroad to inform ongoing discussions among SD members through different methods.
The aim of these consultations is to enable a larger number of Libyans to engage in the political process and contribute to the Structured Dialogue. The idea is to move beyond general discussion and generate specific, actionable recommendations. Your role is to identify both immediate needs to prepare for elections and longer-term proposals that can contribute to a unified national vision for Libya.
The outcomes of all community consultations will be analyzed and compiled into a report that will be shared with Structured Dialogue Members, who will consider the input when formulating their final proposals.

To ensure, that the voices of Libyan youth are heard in the political process, UNSMIL launched a youth digital platform for Libyan-based youth aged 18-35 who wish to add their voices to the Structured Dialogue.
Through the digital youth platform, the Mission intends to ensure that as many young people as possible across the country can be engaged in the process, to complement and support those youth members who will be included in the Structured Dialogue.
Members of the platform will have an opportunity to express their views and perspectives on key issues being discussed in the dialogue and share them with their representatives in the Structured Dialogue, and ensuring that youth voices from across the country are heard in the political process.
Those joining the digital youth forum must be aged 18-35 and agree to a code of conduct including interacting with all contributions with respect and prioritizing the common interests of the Libyan people.
