05 April 2015 - With a view to the global World Press Freedom Day theme for 2015, Let Journalism Thrive towards Better Reporting, Gender Equality, & Media Safety in the Digital Age, UNESCO Tripoli Project Office, in partnership with the Women Empowerment Section of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), organized a roundtable discussion on Women, Media and Peace on Tuesday 05 May in Tunis. The event highlighted the interplay between these different issues in the context of conflict, with a specific focus on women journalists.
