Tripoli, 04 July 2014 - The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) categorically denies claims reported by some media that staff members were detained in the city of al-Baida.
The UN Mission does not have any staff members in Baida. A visit by an UNSMIL delegation to the Constitution-Drafting Assembly in al-Baida that was scheduled for last week was postponed due to flight cancellations at the time.
