Objectives: 

The Consultant will undertake duties as project manager for an UNSMIL construction works project in Tripoli, Libya. 
Background

Functions:

a) The consultant shall bring engineering drafting (drawing) skills along with practical site construction supervision knowledge, including troubleshooting of issues on site, proposing alternative solutions and ensuring schedule tracking, quality control and time compliance of the project.

b) The assignment will be required only for the duration of the project construction schedule.

c) The consultant shall not have supervisory functions over the UN staff however, specialist resources, if available may be made available if agreed with the UNSMIL Chief engineer.

d) The consultant will be based initially in Tunis, and may be required to travel regularly to the project site in Tripoli. Deliverables.
