“Inclusive Constitution” – Workshop for the Candidates of the Constitution Drafting Assembly
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is organizing a series of workshops for 550 CDA Candidates on “Inclusive Constitution” from 1st – 9th February 2014 in the Corinthia Hotel, Tripoli in partnership with UNSMIL.
The workshop provides the CDA candidates with basic information on constitutional concepts and on constitution-making processes. Constitutional experts from the Arab region facilitate the workshops and provide theoretical concepts as well as examples and case studies of constitution-making processes from other countries. The participants are divided into eight groups and each group of around 60 candidates undergoes a one day standardised training workshop.
The media is cordially invited to attend the opening session of the workshop on 5th February 2014, from 9:00-11:00am.
