31 Mar 2015 - 31 March 2015 – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) welcomes the ceasefire and the withdrawal of forces from the Sidra Oil Crescent area.
The move follows weeks of mediation efforts by UNSMIL between the Sunrise (Alshuruq) Operation and the Oil Installation Guard forces and relying on the goodwill of the parties to end the conflict.

18 Mar 2015 - 18 March 2014 - Twenty four electoral staff from Libya and Tunisia have completed a BRIDGE “Train the Facilitator” course administered by the UN Electoral Support Team to Libya, including members of UNSMIL and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with UNDP Tunisia’s Support to the Electoral Process Project. The training took place in Hammamet, Tunisia, between 1 and 11 March 2015.
