09 Jan 2018 - The Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, is traveling to Libya and Tunisia from 9 to 12 January 2018. During his visit, Mr. Feltman will discuss with Libyan leaders the implementation of the United Nations Action Plan for the country and ways by which the world organization can further strengthen its support to the Libyan people at this critical juncture.

07 Jan 2018 - Thirty thousands (30,000) people in Zintan will benefit from the medical supplies provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO). In the context of ongoing response to the health needs in Libya, WHO has provided on 3rd January, thirty (30) Basic and three (3) Supplementary Interagency Emergency Health Kits (IEHK) and six (6) Trauma kit type B to Zintan general hospital.

27 Dec 2017 - Tunis, 26 December 2017 - Sixty thousand (60,000) people in Benghazi will benefit from medical supplies provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO). In the context of its ongoing response to the health situation in Libya, WHO, has provided on 21 December, 60 Basic Interagency Emergency Health Kits (IEHK) with 6 supplement and 9 Trauma kit Type B to Al-Jalaa Hospital in Benghazi.

23 Dec 2017 - Tunis, 22 December 2017 - More than 55 representatives from the South of Libya concluded a three-days Forum in Tunis by adopting a general Charter for Reconciliation. The participants included elders and wisemen from various tribal components of the South, community leaders, members of municipal councils, youth and women activists, local mediators, and civil society organizations.

21 Dec 2017 - Murzuq, 21 December 2017 - Murzuq municipality, in the south of Libya, has received two intensive care ambulances from UNDP through a EU-funded project which aims to improve access to essential services, create jobs and entrepreneur opportunities, and increase security and rule of law in the country. -

19 Dec 2017 - Ubari, 19 December 2017 – The Stabilization Facility for Libya (SFL) has rehabilitated three schools in Ubari, South Libya, and handed them over to the Municipality. During the ceremony, which took place on Monday in one of the rehabilitated centers, Althanwia School, the Acting Mayor of Ubari municipality, Mr. Abou Baker Gansou stated:
