09 Feb 2012 - United Nations Support Mission In Libya welcomes(UNSMIL) the adoption of the Electoral Law which constitutes an important step in Libya's transition to democracy. The electoral process, including the drafting of the law, is Libyan-led.
UNSMIL has provided technical support to the NTC Electoral Committee, and stands ready to work with the newly established Higher National Electoral Commission in its implementation of the electoral process.
