Geneva, 08 August 2014 - We are very much concerned about the situation in Libya, where a conflict between multiple armed groups has been raging primarily in Benghazi and Tripoli.
As Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC or the Court), I am deeply troubled by the escalating violence in the Situation in Libya.
The members of the Security Council welcomed the announcement of the final results of Libya's parliamentary elections held on 25 June. They commended the Libyan people and the efforts of the High National Electoral Commission in ensuring their success, despite ongoing security challenges.
