From 1 February to 28 February 2017, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) documented 11 civilian casualties, including 3 deaths and 8 injuries, during the conduct of hostilities across Libya.

UNICEF calls for implementation of six-point agenda for action to keep refugee and migrant children safe 

 The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) deplores the outbreak of violence in Abu-Selim, Tripoli that resulted in many casualties. The Mission commends the Presidency Council and community leaders’ efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement and prevent further escalation.
