In two days, Libya will mark the anniversary of the 17 February 2011 revolution. Thirteen years on, Libyans are still waiting to realize their aspirations for sustainable peace and democracy.

SRSG Abdoulaye Bathily updates the United Nations Security Council on the situation in Libya on 18 April 2023.
The SRSG’s work to support Libya on its path to elections in 2023 and broaden the political process to include a wider scope of actors is underway, he reported 18 April to the Security Council.
