Tripoli, 28 September 2014 -The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Bernardino Leon, continued his efforts to pave the way for political dialogue.

Mr. Leon Travelled to Tobruk on Sunday 28 September 2014 for a meeting with first deputy parliament president, Mr. Mohammed Shoueib, and to hear the views of some MPs. Mr Leon later Travelled to Tripoli for discussions with some of the parliamentarians who have boycotted the parliament sessions in Tobruk.

Mr. Leon had called for political dialogue to begin on 29 September in Libya. The Meeting will take place in the city of Ghedames.
