The Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) for Libya Ghassan Salame met today with the UN Secretary-General (SG), Antonio Guterres, on the margins of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.

SRSG Salame and SG Guterres will discuss, with African leaders, ways to ensure that Libya’s sovereignty is respected and prevent foreign interference in the country’s affairs. “Africa can play a key role in bringing about stability to Libya,” said Salame.
