In continuation of WHO efforts to mitigate polio virus importation to Libya, WHO in coordination with UNICEF supported and facilitated for NCDC, the implementation of Sub-National Immunization Campaign in 8 districts of the South including children of migrants and IDPs. In spite of active war during all phases of the campaign 86,253 (83.4%) children below 6 years were vaccinated from 29th  April to 4th May 2017. Independent Post Campaign Evaluation by NGO and field data validation by WHO staff are going on.
