28 Oct 2015 - 28 October 2015 – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has learnt of the crash of a helicopter near Zawiya west of Tripoli on 27 October 2015, reportedly killing all passengers onboard, including military officers and brigade commanders.
The Mission regrets the loss of life and calls on the parties to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any action that would further escalate tensions.

10 Oct 2015 - 10 October 2015 - After receiving a number of enquiries regarding the list of names of candidates for the Libyan Government of National Accord, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya Bernardino Leon reiterates what he clearly said in Skhirat, Morocco, on 08 October 2015 that only the six members named to the Presidential Council will be included as Annex No. 1 of the Libyan Political Agreement.

07 Oct 2015 - New York, 6 October 2015 - The Secretary-General reiterates the call of Member States and regional organizations who, during a high-level meeting he convened on 2 October, urged participants in the Libyan political dialogue to urgently conclude the process and sign an agreement leading to the formation of a Government of National Accord. As participants in the event stressed, the agreement is the only way to end the current crisis.
