This marks a significant step in fulfilling the UNSMIL-facilitated CBL agreement signed on 26 September.

09 Oct 2024 - The members of the Security Council welcomed the agreement reached between Libyan actors on the Central Bank of Libya and its endorsement by the House of Representative and High State Council. They called on all Libyan parties to fully and swiftly implement the agreement, including appointing a Board of Directors.
