We will get the opinion of participants on the document and will be discussing the situation on the ground. We still have to send a message to those fighting they must give us a chance to try to find a political solution. We will brief you on progress of the various tracks.

This is the first time that important representatives of political parties will meet to discuss a draft agreement. We will discuss the draft agreement; we will all of us have to give up a little bit to achieve agreement. It is possible.

Getting agreement is very challenging, requires generosity and determination

SRSG Leon underlines a "very special role of Algeria" among other initiatives. He expressed solidarity with South Korea and Morocco after the attacks in Tripoli. “On behalf of everyone around the table, I express condolences to the family of one of the political leaders whose brother was killed, same as with the other families of people who were killed. No more Libyans should lose their lives,” Leon added.
