The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) will hold a news conference on Tuesday 17 December 2013 to discuss the latest developments, including the briefing of Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya Mr. Tarek Mitri to the UN Security Council several days ago as well as UNSMIL activities.

The news conference will commence at 1:00 p.m. Media representatives who wish to attend are kindly requested to arrive at the location at the UN Information Centre (UNIC) in Hay Al-Andaluss in Tripoli, 30 minutes prior to the start of the conference (12:30 PM) to give time for technical crews to prepare.
