In continuation of WHO efforts to mitigate polio virus importation to Libya, WHO in coordination with UNICEF supported and facilitated for NCDC, the implementation of Sub-National Immunization Campaign in 8 districts of the South including children of migrants and IDPs.

On 9th May, 2017, World Health Organization with financial support from the European Union launched a four-day workshop on the Assessment of Health Information System in Libya.

On 8th May, 2017, the World Health Organization and  Ministry of Health Libya jointly launched the summary report on findings of service availability and readiness assessment (SARA) survey at Corinthia Hotel, Tripoli.
