Tripoli, 21 November 2013 - In response to reports about claims that the United Nations has given approval in principle for sale of oil from some Libyan ports, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) affirms that there was no such deal and that the UN did not give any approval, in principle or in practical terms, for any such arrangement.
